Welcome to the course web page for BIT150: APPLIED BIOINFORMATICS. The objective of this course is to introduce concepts and programs needed to apply bioinformatics in biotechnology research. Students in biological and agricultural sciences will be trained in sequence analysis and annotation and in the intelligent use of plant and animal databases.
