My current research focuses on site-specific crop management and precision agriculture, and on modeling and statistical analysis of spatial processes. Site-specific crop management is the management of a crop at a spatial scale appropriate to the natural variation of that crop (ordinarily for field crops in North America this is a spatial extent smaller than that of the whole field). Precision agriculture is the use of modern information technology to achieve site-specific management.
