Site-Specific Rice Management

Return

The primary objective of this project is to develop methods by which a grower can interpret yield maps to determine the source of variation in rice yield and correct for it. The project has been supported by the Fertilizer Research and Education Program to develop site-specific nitrogen management strategies for improved quality and economic yield

The project also involves identification of high concentrations of rice weeds and determination of the economic loss due to these weeds using yield monitor data.
