Environmental Horticulture Minor


Environmental Horticulture Minor (23-25 units)

The EH Minor focuses the student on the identification, taxonomy, propagation, production and maintenance of ornamental plants. Plant Sciences 2 (or Biological Sciences 1C or 2C) is a prerequisite to some courses in the minor.

ENH 6 (4) - Introduction to Environmental Plants (Fall)
ENH 105 (4) - Taxonomy and Ecology of Environmental Plants (Spring)
PLS 171 (4) - Plant Propagation (Spring)

Three of the following courses:

ENH 100 (4) - Urban Forestry (Fall)
ENH 120 (3) - Management of Container Media (Fall)
ENH 125 (5) - Greenhouse and Nursery Crop Production (Winter)
ENH 130 (4) - Turfgrass & Amenity Grassland Utilization & Management (Spring)
ENH 133 (4) - Woody Plants in the Landscape (Winter)
