2009 ANNUAL RICE FIELD DAY,  WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26

             

 

The California Cooperative Rice Research Foundation (CCRRF) is a non-profit research foundation owned by all California rice growers. The California Rice Experiment Station (CRES) is owned and operated by CCRRF. CRES was established at its present site between Biggs and Richvale, California in 1912 through cooperative efforts of the Sacramento Valley Grain Association, USDA-ARS  , and University of California (UC). CRES facilities now consist of 478 acres of land, greenhouses, laboratories, and equipment that is used for rice improvement research and seed production. This website is being put forth to provide a brief overview of the organization, research mission, policies, activities, and accomplishments of CCRRF.
