Conference attendees and their guests can sign-up for a 3 ½ hour Whale Watching excursion on a public Hornblower climate-controlled yacht on Sunday, February 17, 2008. This adventure includes viewing of San Diego landmarks, birds, sea lions, dolphins, harbor seals and very likely whales. Your marine-life expert captain will provide a narrative about the natural behaviors of the sea life. View the spectacular phenomenon of the annual gray whale migration along the coast of California and learn about their migration pattern and the significance of their various surfacing maneuvers.
Boarding is at 9:00 a.m. via the Hornblower ticketbooth at 1066 North Harbor Drive. Photo I.D. is required for those over 18. Seating is first-come, first served. Souvenirs, snacks, and a full bar are available onboard.
You may register in advance using our conference registration form. The cost is $35 per person and the Whale Watching tour online credit card or mail-in registration must be received by January 1, 2008, while the early registration cut-off date for the conference is January 15, 2008. These registrations can be done separately, as needed. After January 1, 2008, you may purchase tickets for Whale Watching directly from Hornblower Cruises & Events. They also offer bay tours and deep sea fishing. If you would like to find out more about these outings, check out their web site: Hornblower Cruises & Events.
We encourage you to make those arrangements yourself.
