PLS Wednesday Seminar: Joe, Rottersman and Dubcovsky on Wheat

Anna Joe is a research specialist, and Maria Rottersman is a doctoral student, both in the lab of Jorge Dubcovsky, a distinguished professor in the department. The Dubcovsky lab is focused on the development of small grains.

Joe will speak on, "How do wheat plants keep track of the number of inductive photoperiods?"

Rottersman will speak on, "Effects of a chromosomal abnormality on wheat quality."

Maria Greene Rottersman is a Ph.D. student developing gluten-free wheat in the lab of Jorge Dubcovsky, a distinguished professor in the UC Davis Department of Plant Sciences.

We'll have coffee, fruit and snacks. Grad students can get credit for PLS 290 - be sure to sign the sign-in sheet at the table as you come in!
