Joseph (Zeke) Student

I am a Junior Specialist working in the Melotto Lab. My work at UC Davis has included studying plant microbe interactions, and I mainly work with Salmonella and lettuce. I seek to understand how different genotypes of lettuce respond to Salmonella strains isolated from various sources. My research interests include plant evolution and plant adaptation to environmental stress.
