Stephen Gasteyer is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Michigan State University. His research focuses on community development, with an emphasis on potable water and equitable community access to natural resources. The topic of his seminar is "The challenges of development in the context of insecurity: Food and water security in the West Bank, Palestine".
This is part of the department's weekly International Agricultural Development seminar series, organized by Amanda Crump, an associate professor in the department and expert in the IAD field. Students can receive 1 credit for attending the series by enrolling in IAD 190.
